Hi:
If you look at our local weather, you will see that the Westcoast of Canada (Lower Mainland including Vancouver and Vancouver Island) has mild weather, where snow is rare.  It rains a lot, but temperatures rarely ever get below freezing.  This part of the country is essentially like a rain forest.  I know everyone thinks that Canada is some big snowball but it could not be farther from the truth.
