A program called Conflict Catcher was very necessary for OS8 & 9 - it
allowed you to reorder the load order, which could be a real problem,
and create extension sets, so that you could restart and run more
difficult extensions only when you needed them, turning off the ones
they did not play nicely with.
Also, if I correctly remember an earlier discussion, you might
consider dropping back to 9.1.something, as 9.2 was really only for
OSX compatibility, and had some stability problems in systems not
intended for OSX...
Just can't remember if you can boot off a zipdisk - the problem is
getting the zip driver to load before the system is needed...
