  The only app that I use with X11 (GRASS GIS) still compiles under
Leopard and much more nicely than it did in 10.3 and 10.4.
Apple has done a great job to integrate standard libraries.
Hehe, it reminds me of the glorious days when X11 for mac first came
out. Porting apps to mac os x was a RPITA.
But i had not choice as I was needing the software. Now I have
alternatives that are native Cocoa.
Most problems in portig had to do with the library linker though.
These days I have gone soft and refuse to develop anything without
Xcode!!. I have been spoiled, I know...
