I'm not sure of the content of those two magazines, but I'd assume the
answer is yes. There are PDF archives of some of the "Newton Technical
Journal", which was a joint venture by MacTech Magazine and Apple
(maybe distributed with "develop"?), up on UNNA in the developer
documentation section:
