Re: [NTLK] DotMac 551 error

Hi All!
Apologies for answering my own question, but thought it would be
useful to have the solution to my .mac smtp problem in the archives
for future searchers.

I found that I had failed to set up an email address in my owner card
using the Newt's standard email address. Installing Mail V creates an
option to add "Email Access" to the owner card. I had done that, but
had not filled in the plain vanilla "Email" blank.

Once I did that, I could send mail to .Mac.
