[NTLK] Data transfer on pcmcia cards

I’ve read with much interest, but limited understanding, the various ways to synch data. I love my Newtons and Emates, but they have fallen into disuse due to synching problems. While I would love to have an easy Bluetooth solution, it looks like a challenging project. I did once get on ethernet, but have since mislaid my dongle for that solution.
   
  Is it possible to get an external card reader on a PC (We no longer have active Macs) and then just copy files from the Newton to the card and then insert the card in the reader?
