Manybooks.net uses Victor's online Paperback generator, so there won't
be any real bookmarking or annotating features. The only effective way
to produce these is by hand with Newton Press, which is both buggy and
time consuming. Since Manybooks.net generates the books on the fly
without interference from any person, Newton Press is not an option
(not to mention that it only runs in the Mac Classic environment,
while the Paperbook generator runs on a Linux server.) So to get the
bookmarking features you'll have to format the book yourself, or
convince one of the enthusiastic Newtonbook makers on the list to
round it up for you.

FWIW, you can make your own books from plain text files with Victor's generator:
