You can extract either ROM and put it into a Flash ROM. The ROM chip
inside the Newton however is mask-programmed, meaning that it can
never be changed. It would be possible to make a Flash ROM board from
scratch which could then be reflashed to any other ROM version, but
that is much harder than just getting another existing ROM card - of
course ;-)
