I prefer wireless and use Lucent Turbo Silver WEP encryption
wired I use Megahertz 3Com 589ET
see a similar card that I suspect will work on eBay # 150272489105
I have also had success with the Earthlink3 card.
I have found that some routers have trouble with these cards especially
the Earthlink.
I had trouble with the Netgear range max router none with Linksys. Both
of these accepted wireless connection just fine.
Check the archives for wifi cards there are many that work
