[NTLK] New members

I'm 27 and rediscovered the Newton late this summer.  My aunt wanted to get rid of her old Macintosh Plus -- quite literally, the first personal computer I ever used.  Not just the same model, but the actual item I had played with at the age of five.  I got it home, and not only is it still in brand new condition, it still works just fine.  While I was researching about it, I came across a forum that had a Newton section.  I remembered that I had wanted one when I was a freshman in high school (1997), and after some eBaying, I found that I could finally afford one.
I will admit, I was surprised at first to see an active community for a device that hadn't been made for eleven years.  When I got my hands on a MP2000, I understood why.  
Owning (and using daily) a PDA from 1997 wasn't unusual according to my girlfriend.  After all, I'm the guy who has a 1987 Macintosh Plus on his desk.  ;)

That's awesome that people of all ages are still discovering the newts. I'm late 20's (barely) and only joined the list two years ago when I got my first newt. I was actually in my teens when I first saw a newt but couldn't afford one, I wish I could've had a newt at Matej's age!
