I had and still have a Newton 130 with a version of Eudora on it. I
don't recall if this product ever got out of beta. I was drawn to it
because I had been using Eudora since Steve Dorner cranked out the
first version at the University of Illinois. I only switched from
Eudora to Apple mail last year.
However, I don't think it was popular on the Newton due to never
having gotten out of beta.
