They are invaluable as they allow fresh batteries to be used without having to
go to the effort of recelling a pack. I don't see them so often on eBay
anymore.

NewtonSales advertise them for USD 60 +P&P (don't know where he is based); J&K
have them for USD 35 +P&P (US-based).

If you did go ahead then you might be able to provide a cost effective source
for European users. What do you think you could sell them for if you made a run
of 100 or 500? Can you match J&K? HTH
