As a newton user who recently got an iPhone - I have to say that, with
the app store and network connectivity - the iPhone is fulfilling many
of the promises made by the original messagepad back in 1993. Since it
was originally geared as a communications device - and technology just
wasn't there yet or at least the adoption of it. Would the iPhone be
great with hwr - yeah. But as is, it's a pretty compelling little
device.
