First you mention the pre-made world map. I do not se that GPSMap Lite comes
with such a map. Are you using perhaps, Mapper by Adam Tow? Another great
little program but not compatible with GPS. Next, does it give you an error
message when you try to open it? If you are using GPSMap Lite by Gerd
Staudenmaier, you can send me you NTK project, with your map and text file
and I'll take a look at it. But I suspect it is a problem with NSEW and
latitude and longitude number sign. I did that once.

Feel free to contact me off list to send me files. But everything else we
should keep on list for posterity.

I'm having problems with GPSmap recognising the map I made using the
map creator package. I can tap on the map I loaded on my newton and
have it show that it contains a map, but I can't select it from GPS
map when I load a map. I put the pre-made world map on my newton and
GPSmap will load that, so I think it's something I'm doing when I
create the package.

Do you publish your map pkg as an application or something else?

Thanks.
