Yes, his last message to the list was just after getting out the
hospital from the accident:

Unfortunately, he didn't note anything after that, IIRC. Who knows
what a car accident and being laid up in the hospital for a number of
weeks could have done to the rest of his life.

I obviously don't condone his not returning the money people who
didn't receive products had paid him.
