Magnitude? What percentage of all iPhone users have had to get their screens replaced/repaired?

Of note, an associate dropped my iPhone from the top of one floor in a house, and it landed face down on tile (10 stairs high). Nothing happened, it was perfect after the fall.

I rather think an iPhone is a lot more expensive than a shirt/jacket pocket.
Just reading the many stories of people getting their iPhone glass touchscreens
repaired/replaced after a drop indicates the magnitude of the problem.

The slipperyness of the iPhone has utility: while it may slip out of people's
hands more than something like a Newton (you can learn to hold it properly to
mitigate that, though), it works well when sliding it in and out of pockets.
Much better than something that is rubberized, and when you factor in expensive
clothing, the last thing you want is friction in those pockets.
