The white sticker on the MP2x00 under the Port Cover is the serial number.
I'd suggest that you consider it a lost cause being that Newtons are already
at the End of Life stage so they will not be supported by means of
registration with Apple.

The other number you could get from the various programs is the Newton ID
which is specific to NOS 2.1 devices and does not correspond to the Serial
Number

Hopefully my grey matter has not failed me regarding this info. I state this
as I used those numbers off my MP2000's when I registered for the MP2000
Upgrade to MP2100 for both units just prior to the deadline for that
upgrade.

Just so you know I'm finally back from vacation and am trying to catch up
with threads... But I'm going to me off the radar as I've got other
priorities. Sorry to a few who have tried to contact me as I'm really busy
right now.
