Not really. Although the wifi hardware is more sensitive and works with a
weaker signal, there is no decent browser or Email client. It does not
support SSL nor WAP. So you have the same WEP limits. There is an Opera
cartridge but I have never had the chance to try it. All of the reviews of
the Opera cartridge say it is a very poor implementation of Opera.
No, the DS and the Newton supplement each other well, but neither is a
replacement for the other.
