Can someone please elaborate on what is meant by "Newton-based trainings" a bit?

James:
The "Writing Practice" is found under Extras > Setup....and is called just that. Larry Yaegar (sp?), pretty much the *creator* of the Newton's HWR engine, has said that the PRINT option has no (or very little) learning ability...CURSIVE is the option that "learns" how you write, along with selecting the correct pop-up word or correcting your own mistake on the screen, and going through the Writing Practice for hours.
*I* have a question...I have problems with things like punctuation. Most of the time I can't get most punctuation--like periods--to show up properly
