The two packages you are trying to install are both Newt's Cape, but 16b2 is a version made for older, OS 1.x devices.

I'm out today, if you still have not received a solution by tonight, I'll be happy to sit down and try to provide a step by step approach to this issue.

I've been perusing Google until my eyes have begun to bleed, so I'll admit defeat and ask a stupid question:I am attempting to install Newt's Cape onto my MP2000 via Newton Connection Utilities on a Windows XP machine with a standard serial cable. All of the files that are listed in UNNA that need to be installed are ending up on my Newton just fine, except two files named nwcp16b2.pkg and nwcp20r2.pkg. Both of the files do exactly the same thing when I attempt to install them -- they hang at about 50% (according to the Newton screen) and never finish.I've used Courier with no problem (other than the fact that it worked for ten minutes and hasn't worked again yet...grr) but I've never used Newt's Cape on the machine at all, and it was wiped clean when I got it. According to the memory info, I've got 2112K of space left.I expect I'm missing something quite simple...
