My apologies--there is an extra space between the words "Baud Rate", which should not be there.

So, the corrected line is:

defaults write com.newton.connection BaudRate -int 115200

again, press RETURN or ENTER.

Cut and paste ensures the correct line is entered..once you have it, that is ;)  .
