Yep. Pin socket #2 is missing a contact. The other 31 have 2 contacts 
while #2 only has 1. Thus the USB-001 I purchased won't work. So I need 
to either:

1. Repair J6.
2. Replace J6.
3. Replace the MP 2100.
4. Sell the USB-001.

#3 is the easiest route. If that fails then I'll have to go route 4.
