Greetings, All:
I provide free tech support to my wife's parochial school (Our
Savior Lutheran in Grand Ledge, MI) and was pleasantly suprised today to
receive a call from her asking if I could dispose of some 'eMate 300
Macs.' Upon arriving at the school, I was greeted by a cabinet filled
with 31 eMates. Some do not wortk, some appear to have been gently, and
sparingly, used and the rest fall somewhere in between. There appear to
be power supplies for all, and 100 still in the box replacement styli.
My charge from the school is to sell them and raise money, with all
proceeds being returned to the school. Without knowing anything - how
many work well enough to use, Y2010 patching (unlikely), battery life
(some have it), hinge repair (unlikely), et cetera, I wanted to offer
the ladies and gentlemen of The List a first crack at these before I
begin listing them on eBay. So, if you have an interest in a unit
(please specify working or parts), please contact me off-line with your
price, etc., and I'm sure that we can work something out.
Regards,
-Lloyd Conway
