DMG does have a checksum. And the dmg file I have works fine; my Mac mounts and uses it no problem.

What I did was mount the DMG on my Mac and copy everything in it to a folder, then create a zip file of all the stuff. The zip file is 4.81 gigs, similar to the dmg; uncompressed, all that is a bit under 10 gigs.

It doesn't save any space over using the DMG, but it's a little easier for Windows users.

Now I just have to wait for the upload to finish, at 10KB/sec. :)
