Holy cow! Having lived in Los Angeles I know how it is to fear earth quakes every day (and to feel them once a week). Luckily, I only ever went through one that was a bit more serious... .

This however is terrible! I am glad that you and your friends are all well. Sometimes even the atheist (that would be me) has to admit that there must be angles protecting us.

I wish you all the energy needed to help your family, you neighbors, and your friends to save, rebuild, and eventually get back a sense of normality.
