The Sinclair ZX machines are all 32 by 24 characters (256 by 192 pixels).

As a young person with (I think) perfect eyesight, even I don't understand the need for high-density displays. What's the point if you then need four times as many pixels to display a paragraph of text so it is readable? I'm quite happy with the MP110's 1-bit, 240 by 320 display, thank you very much.
