[NTLK] OMP Display Problem- Very very dim

I've had some more or less dead one's in the battery holder for about
a week. Its just running next to my bed off the AC adapter. Not so
sure about the backup. Would you suggest trying to power it off of new
AAAs?

It may also help to mention: I did take the thing apart a few months
back to take care of the power switch problem. The ZIF connection
didn't cause a problem at the time.
