I agree with the Imperial Marsupial (LG, if you will). I'm pretty sure that neither poutine nor BCD's rants are revelant to our discussion...but considering some of the OTHER discussions we've had here, that's an arguable point.

I believe that the offense comes not so much from what BCD (Bob Carls Dudley) said--i.e., its content, as much as it was the way that he said it.

Let's not forget that several months ago he posted a similar-themed post about economic doom and destruction, and that we should all buy gold from a European firm, who subsequently found themselves in trouble with the law.

His MO is to creep out of his burrow, make loud proclamations that seem to invariably lead to certain global doom and destruction, then return to his lair for another few months or so.

BCD, if you're reading this: please, come back to us! Do you still have a Newton? What have you been doing with it these days? And please don't be offended by my characterization of you.
