[NTLK] Freedompop?

Ok, i looked at that and bought the lower cost freedompop device. I have a wavelan silver and also ordered a wavelan gold. When i try and get the drivers for the wavelan loaded I get a message about the card not being recognized when i insert it. Can someone give me some steps and what i need to install? I don't get any errors when i put in the 3com ethernet card so i think NIE must be ok. Is there a patch for NIE that has to be loaded?
