Pawel, all

I purchased the UGreen RS232/USB cable, and I have NCX. My MP2000 is
connected via dongle to ADB/RS232 cable, then to gender changer, then to
the UGreen connector, to a Mac Pro.

The Newton doesn't connect via serial. I've installed the UGreen drivers,
and confirm it appears in System Report. /Library/Logs/NewtonConnection.log
shows it as an option, but reports no activity when I attempt to sync.

I suspected the ADB/RS232 cable was fake or defective, as others have
reported issues on Amazon for this type of cable. I checked the pinout with
a meter and a good number of them do not have through connectivity.

Any suggestions on a good ADB to RS232 cable? I could solder one together,
provided a list of parts.

Thanks!
Eric
