Hi all,

It's a good idea to want to redo new case for Newton.
Even if the technology has evolved, it will not be easy, to succeed to have a correct price for the manufacture of small quantities. Especially if you want to have a product of very good quality. But that does not prevent to try!

For this project, there are two options.
- the first, is to redo the same, the same model as the original (except perhaps the appearance of skin)
- the second is to make a new case. which could bring improvements ...

For example, the only Newton 2x00 clone I know, is Schlumberger Watson. Which has a different case of Apple models. Different in appearance! Because in truth, the lower part of the original Newton case is present in Watson!
Tomorrow I will dismount one of my Watson's, and you will take pictures, so that you too see what it looks like. 
The most interesting option, on the Watson, is that they installed a port interconnect port on the case, allowing for example the use of its functions in a Dock…
