Have you heard of the Mac Application Compatibility Environment ( M.A.C.E.) project?
They are creating a WINE-like environment for classic Mac apps.
There are quite a number that are working very well… even Hypercard (mostly)!

I wonder if your Serial/TCP code would slot into their project to help create a “containerized” version of NTK that does NOT require an emulator!

Currently MACE runs on MacOS and (barley) Windows.
