[NTLK] 2000 not switching on

Frank has related similar stories of Newts that will not start up. Not wishing to speak for him, I only mention that because he is not always available here.
Have you visited his site: http://www.pda-soft.de ? It’s very comprehensive and full of information on both the Newton and eMate. A quick look over it doesn’t reveal a quick solution to your particular problem, but it’s still a good website to know.
You can send him a message through there, or here.
If you visit the Home Page for this list ( http:/www.NewtonTalk.net ) you can search the archives for past posts, which could provide a solution. (Also available at http:/www.Marc.info .) Perhaps searching with the topic “dead Newton” will help.
