I think they were talking about issues with alarms. If you search for
"Fix2010" <https://marc.info/?l=newtontalk&w=2&r=1&s=fix2010&q=b> it seems
like everyone was talking about it positively until 2010 at which point the
real fixes for the 2x00s were developed.
