Your whole story is somewhat known for me. I had the corruption of
packages in the internal store and had to power down my MP2k1 (remove
accu) to get it to restart. Finally I was easy with a brain wipe because
I have all important data on the card which seemed to be ok. But not
this morning. There my names file was empty (there are no names in the
file) but the storage reported 11xy entries. So I filed everything into
internal and then back and was done.
