This may be from dirt or grit getting under the case and causing the
touch screen to mis-interpret where you are pointing. Use a business
card and put it between the case and the screen. Move the card around
the case on all sides to remove any grit that may accumulate. A screen
protector will help prevent this from happening in the future.
