Hi all,
when you select "Backup" using the card application, it crates a
backup of only the internal storage (packages and all) on the card,
but not the contents of the card itself. Is there any way to tell it
to back up the card as well?

You cannot use the build-in Card Backup option for Card to Card Backup. You need to use either SBM Utilities or Mobile Backup for that purpose. Both Card slots will need to be used and the Backup Card obviously have to be bigger in capacity than the data you are backing up.
I have a 32 MB resident Data Card which I regularly backup to my 24 MB Backup Card. I just uncheck WordNewt (8 MB) for space reasons.
