There are special software apps from Intel to let you format, and write
data to them, using Win95 and perhaps unix/NT. I saw no Mac drivers, if
you are looking to use them in a Mac laptop. We are talking about the
recent cheap 6 meg Intel 5/5V cards, right?

The utils were a little hard to find on Intel's web site, but they are
there.

I don't have the URL anymore but I did post it (I believe) to this list
about 2 months ago, when I was trying to get the cards to work with my
MP120 (they won't). Check Victor's searchable archive; I don't post that
much, so likely a search on my name will pull the posts up without a lot
of false hits. See http://eddie.cis.uoguelph.ca/~victor/newton/index.shtml

The utils worked just fine on my wife's Digital P100 laptop running
Win95a. I was able to format and dump data to the card.
