I have nto been able to get Act to work for some time now. I ahve deleted
the Software and reinstalled to no avail. Act used to work, but I couldn't
get it to sycn with the PC (because of the wrong cables). And now that I
have the right cable and I am connecting quite nicely, I can't get Act to
work to try to Sync with Act 2000 on my desktop and laptop.
The crash comes in when I am trying to launch Act on the Newt. It seems to
load ok, but then goes to normalizing Names, and then when it is about 95%
done, it crashes. I do not have that many names, maybe a couple of hundred.
Has anybody had any similar experiences? Is anybody using Act for Newton
successfuly with Act 2000?
