On IE you can type "go tonepad" at the adress bar and it will do a search
on Tonepad.
You can set options to asume you want to di this if you don't type go. The
default is to try adresses with common sufixes and prefix (www., .com, .org,
etc.).
I just type "go <whatever>" when i need a search.

Sorry, veering off topic here, if it gets worse I'll go off list.
Curious if this is in a Mac or a PC, I'm working with IE 4.5 on a Mac and
yes I added the .com etc. and my browser ads www. in front as well (and I
even added it a couple of times just to be sure) so I'm getting more and
more curious of what I'm missing here (I'm a sucker for faster and easier
ways around my computer, but then I would think that most Newton users are
that way, after all, that's why we use a Newton ;-)
