If you're having trouble accessing Info-Newt (http://www.info-newt.com)
today, that's because I'm changing IP addresses on my server (a change
required by my Internet access provider, it wasn't MY idea!)
I did the IP address change this morning before I went to work, but
unfortunately, I can't reach the person who runs the Domain Name Server
that lists Info-Newt to get them to change the IP address in the DNS.
Figures, right? Finally, I had to leave for work.
But all is not lost; for now, you can temporarily use the IP address for
the Info-Newt server directly to access it, as follows:
It's possible that some links may not work, such as to the ftp site (use
ftp://209.234.72.21/ ).
NOTE: If you're still using the old http://www.newtintouch.com/ address
or the even older http://surf.to/NewtInTouch/" address.....STOP! Use the
IP address above for now....and http://www.info-newt.com/ once I get the
DNS fixed. (Might not hurt to keep the IP style URL above in your
bookmarks, too, just in case.)
I still see quite a bit of people using the addresses in my server
logs...and they won't be there forever. Time to update your bookmarks!
Can someone post this message to the comp.sys.newton.misc and/or
comp.sys.newton.announce newsgroups for me? I don't have newsgroup
access at work...
