I have an XJEM3336 (one letter different), which is a 33k modem & fax and a
lan too. It works with my MP2K, although it took some fiddling to get it to
work. LAN is not supported by the newton for any combo-cards, to my knowledge,
which includes this card, but the fax&modem work. It's a real battery-hog,
generates a ton of heat, and as I mentioned before, doesn't support any lan.
To get it to work, I had to add a modem-command to ignore carrier. Other than
that, I think it was a pretty standard setup. To create custom modem-strings,
you need a .pkg called "ModemModifier". I don't know where I got it, but maby
it's at planet newton.
