I couldn't agree more BUT (I liked that big BUT as you can tell) and I'm
also depending on copyright laws (I'm actually a photographer first)
Joost skipped very quickly over the overprized bit and I agree that if
you're stealing admit it, but there is a point in some theft that maybe
shouldn't be overlooked.
I don't like the quality of MP 3's and copied CD's so I'm not onto that
myself, but I love the fact that it will bring overpriced CD's back to
normal levels (I hope eventually)
And I don't work with Quark XPress but I can fully understand that people
that have been bullied by a company that overprices their stuff to start
with but don't even give you good service if it doesn't work
(I know of cases that took more than three months to get their legal (!)
versions to work and the people from Quark couldn't care less)
So yes, a thief is a thief and he/she should admit it but sometimes in some
exceptional circumstances (!) I don't mind some self centered Robin Hood
attitudes.
Reactions maybe off list, since it's getting quite far off topic and don't
worry, I'm quite flame proof ;-)
