> Anyone have good experience on IrDA transfer to a Mac?
The Newton was axed, unfortunately, before Apple wrote any software drivers
to make this possible. The only 2 things the IrDA is good for on
Newtons/eMates are 1) For beaming between 2 or more Newton devices, and
2) for infrared printing with a IrDA-equipped printer, like the HP Deskjet
630 models. (I think I have the number right there.)
(This is, of course, unless some smart someone has written drivers for this
capability since I last heard.)
