One even better.....

I went from a Wintel 75MHz Processor (Bought summer 1994, used until
beginning of summer 1997) and switched from it to a Quadra 700. For those of
you who knows, the Q700 is about the speed of a 486. I went from a P75 that
crashed often, for no reason, to a Machine that ran the same software, had
the same processor infostructure, and had less RAM and was happy. I now use
(Got a few months back) a PowerMac 8100/80 - about the speed of a P133 or
so. I'm going to get a 110MHz Board for it (to max it out with the 264MB of
RAM) and then get a Newer G3 upgrade with 1MB backside cache. This computer
out performs my father's P133 any day of the week. Videos, opening files,
data transfer. To make it in layman's terms: Macintosh, It Does More, It
costs Less, It's Just That Simple. After all, this unit speaks what I write,
opens what I speak for it to open, networks with ease, and is a helluva lot
more stable! Who wants Windows when you can have the whole house? ;)

Oh, and my Grandmother just replaced her P166 with a Performa 637CD - a
33Mhz 68040, again, she replaced a Pentium with a 486 like system that does
more, faster. She is now on AOL sending me Instant Messages and she is 67!
