I think in the UK where a bit reserved and self aware of what other may or
may not think about us, yet saying that every tom-dick-and-harry here have
mobiles and use those every where.....?

In the UK I have never seen anyone bar my girlfriend with her eMate and a
friend with a 110 (which I sold him). Working with thier Newton's in a
public place.
On a similar note, I have only seen one person using a Palm in a public when
I was down in London for awhile. I can't think of many people who use a PDA
of any kind to be honest.
It often makes me wonder just how well *any* PDA is selling in the UK, I
know there is quite a user base for the Psion based machine because I use to
be one of them. However on a day to day basis, I never spot anyone. Even in
cyber cafes and the like.
I use to feel a bit self concious about using my mine in public, however it
doesn't bother me anymore.
Just my own observations (or lack of them)
Adi
