SPEAKING OF THIS . . .
That's always been the one visual flaw of the 2100 compared to the 2000.
The 2000 has this nice embossed Apple logo directly on the case. The 2100
has this cut out hole in which a "button" has been placed with simply a
silkscreened Apple logo. It does look like the case orginally had another
logo on it, and that the additional of the Apple logo was done as an
inexpensive afterthought.
[In addition the Newton Technology logo on the top left of the 2100 looks
more plain-jane corporate than the Newton logo in the top center on the
2000.]
Can you confirm that the 2100's case originally had a Newton logo embossed
on it? Does anyone know, was there a ever 2100 released that didn't have
the logo "cut out" but has the original logo embossed on the case?
I've always wanted to know this!
