there are others but from memory they are the same.
other things i can think of are checking how flaky the power switch
feels, looking to see if the screws on the back have ever been taken
off (look for stripping damage), and look at the serial port. is it
clean and not going to fall into the machine when you plug something
in there?
any other ideas? otherwise newts are hardy little machines. rock solid.
