Since there's been some discussion about beaming recently, why not using the
standard beam? He just has to pick the date items he wants to file, select
"Beam -> Later" and the item will end in the out box. Later, when his wife
comes back, they just have to beam those entries to each other.
Unless I'm missing something, that should work.
