I had the chance last week to use a cohort's new Palm VII. Of course, it
is -just- a Palm, and I was very skeptical given the mediocre reviews of the
VII, but I was pleasantly surprised at the functionality of the Palm's
wireless connection. We were able to reliably and relatively quickly
download stock quotes via etrade, maps via mapquest, flight connections via
OAG. This thing works, and I would imagine that there will be many more
options available soon. And to top it off, it didn't seem to suck battery
power like I expected it to. We used it heavily over three days, and the
AAA batteries were going strong.
So, the big question is, how can I get similar service with my MP2000?
Anyone know?
